A 4-year-old girl presented with vomiting for 2 days.
She had had rhinorrhea, frontal headache, and watery eyes for 1 week prior to the vomiting, for which she had been treated with loratadine, 5 mg/d. She appeared tired and less-active than usual 1 day later. One day prior to the vomiting, she had received the measles, mumps, and rubella and varicella vaccines. On the same day, she had a wobbly gait and was warm to the touch.
How do you proceed?
