Dr Steven Nissen from Cleveland Clinic talks to us about intravascular ultrasound technology as well as different trials that assessed BP lowering techniques.
Steven Nissen, MD, is the Chairman of the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart & Vascular Institute at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He was a pioneer in the development of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), has served as principal investigator for 6 major trials using IVUS to assess coronary disease, and is currently conducting several additional atherosclerosis studies.
