Abbey Hughes, MD, is an assistant professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and clinical psychologist with expertise in rehabilitation psychology and multiple sclerosis rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
This study was funded by a grant from the National MS Society to Dr Meghan Beier (the last author on the paper and principal investigator of the grant). Drs Beier and Hughes lead the MS Rehabilitation laboratory at Johns Hopkins. They are both rehabilitation psychologists who deliver assessment and intervention services to individuals with MS and conduct research focused on behavioral approaches to symptom management.
