Josh Hamilton, DNP, APRN, BC, CNE, FAANP: Hello everyone, Josh Hamilton here, I'm a doctor of nursing practice, a family nurse practitioner, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner with the Hamilton group in Las Vegas, Nevada. My partner Dr. Manish Jha and I just wrapped up a 2024 Practical Updates in Primary Care virtual session.

This year, we had the pleasure of speaking about mental health in the primary care setting, specifically about how we can apply concepts of precision medicine and biomarkers to the treatment of major depressive disorder. A few concepts that we hope you gained as part of reviewing this session really have to do with not only understanding the disorder better at the epigenetic and genetic level, but how to use concepts of genomics and genetics and biomarkers to really inform our treatment, specifically whether we're prescribing medicines or biologicals or whether we're waiting for new drugs to come through the pipeline for development - very exciting things on the horizon, we hope.

If you joined us this session, thank you. If you missed us this time, please take a moment to look us up and find us on demand. Go back and watch us after the fact, or join us for one of the upcoming sessions later this year. There are lots of other great PUPC opportunities taking place in 2024, and we hope to see you there.

Thank you. you, take care.
